biographical note

1963    Tassos Missouras was born in Larissa
           in February, 1963
1981    Enrolls in the Athens School of Fine
           Arts and studies painting under
           Dimitris Mytaras and Rena
           Papaspyrou in the preparatory course
           under Yannis Moralis, Dimitris Koukos
           and Zacharias Arvanitis in the first
           year and under Dimitris Mytaras in all
           subsequent years
           He obtained scholarships for all his
           years as a student
1986    Graduates from the ASFA with
           distinction
1987    Studies at the Ecole Νationale
           Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris
           under Leonardo Cremonini (1987-
           1991)  on a French state (CROUS)
           scholarship
1988    Obtains a three-year Greek-state
           scholarship for the Ecole Nationale
           Superieure des Arts Decoratifs

Anne-Laure Djaballah

Greatly influenced by the urban landscape, windows and boxes (painted or actual constructions) create spaces bits of found treasure, similar to the bits and pieces that we gather over time to turn a space into a home. Lines of various sorts wander through the paintings and then the larger space, tracing a path that never finds a place to settle.
